Jasprit Bumrah continues to grab eyeballs with his wicket-taking yorkers in the death overs. The fast bowler from Ahmedabad has been a story ever since John Wright spotted him in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and then drafted him into the Mumbai Indians squad in 2013. Though this young bowler played only two matches in his debut season and got three wickets, he benefited immensely with the pace attack in the MI squad who backed his strengths and boosted his confidence.
He has grown manifold over the years and is the Captain’s go-to-man when in need of wickets in a close game.
